Quit Playin Media ("we," "us") is a sports photography and film studio based in Dallas, Texas. This policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Online booking. When you book and pay for a package, our payment processor Stripe collects your payment details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, phone, and the booking details you give us.
- Inquiry form. When you contact us, we collect what you type in: your name, email, phone number, organization, the service you're interested in, dates, and your message.
- Premiere list. If you ask to hear about our original series, we collect your email address.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to run and secure the site.
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your inquiry, prepare quotes, schedule and deliver our services, keep normal business records, and protect the site from spam and abuse. If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. We will not send you marketing texts unless you separately agree to receive them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and stores form submissions for us.
- Stripe, which processes payments.
- Akismet, the spam filter Netlify uses to screen form submissions.
- Our email and business tools, so we can read and answer your message.
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized, under this same policy.
Our service providers may store information in the United States or other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries only as long as we need them to respond, book, and keep normal business records, then we delete them.
Children
Our inquiry form is for adults 18 and older, including parents, guardians, coaches, and organizations. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. If we learn that a child under 13 has sent us personal information, we will delete it. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian contact us.
Photos and film of athletes
This site shows examples of our work. On this site we identify minor athletes by first name only. To ask us to remove an image or clip, see our Image and Film Removal Requests policy.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing book@quitplayinmedia.com. We will respond promptly, and within 45 days.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or storage system is 100% secure.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the effective date.
